Our 361-home neighborhood is located just west of Franklin, Tennessee off State Highway 96.  The Founders Pointe Homeowner's Association keeps up this website primarily for information exchange for its residents and the community.

The Founders Pointe community, which was developed by Zaring Construction Company in the 1990's, has had a rich history.  After being occupied long ago by the ancient Stonegrave Indians, it was part of a huge land grant to Major Anthony Sharpe, a veteran of the Revolutionary Army.  It was then known as Poplar Grove because of the tall forest of Poplar trees. Major Sharpe sold 640 acres to Abram Maury in 1799 which included what is now the City of Franklin.  Abram Maury surveyed, founded, and named Franklin and went on to be a man of consequence in the area.  The Maury family homestead was located in what is now Founders Pointe, and the family cemetery is now part of Founders Pointe common grounds.

Founders Pointe is now a beautiful, thriving neighborhood and the Homeowner's Association is organized to serve all of the residents.  This website is part of that service and the Board of Directors welcomes input and suggestions.
